Gaz Parry has made the third ascent of Director’s Cut V13/8b in Parisella’s cave. Jamie Cassidy first climbed the line back in the summer of 2004, followed quickly by Malcolm Smith who grabbed a quick second ascent. Since then it has repelled all boarders, despite the efforts of some very talented climbers.

“I was very pleased to get this today. It’s been a long time in coming. It’s taken me over 15 visits, but last week when I did Greenheart Connection it was the first time that I felt I really could do Directors Cut. I think it is proper solid 8b at the upper end of the grade.”
