Young Jamie Cassidy beat Malcolm Smith to the first ascent of the Lou Ferrino - Trigger Cut link in Parisella's Cave.

Jamie has suggested a suitably monstrous grade of V14 for the Director's Cut, making it a contender for the hardest boulder problem in North Wales to date.

Whether or not the big grade sticks is a moot point, as new, easier sequences for Trigger Cut have prompted a slew of repeats (nearly double figures already!) and an emerging consensus grade of V11 for the stand up version.

Also in the cave, local lad Danny Cattell made the second ascent of Chris Davies' Hell Start (V11) to Rock Atrocity.
