A late February visit to Porth Ysgo from Mike Adams (who, incidentally, made the first ascent of Tide of Dreams back in 2002) yielded another significant scalp: Chaos Theory tackles the project link mentioned on page 230 of the guide; namely a right to left link across the Truth block, reversing the crux of Toys Right Hand and staying low on pockets and crimps to to finish up Truth itself. Mike said, “ with excellent conditions this felt about V8+."

On a subsequent visit, Mike also made a repeat of Mark Katz’s recent addition, Anaconda, praising it as, “one on the best lines” on the crag and commenting that it felt like top end V9.

(NB. The posting of this news item has prompted a couple of retro claims on Chaos Theory from Chris Davies and Dave Noden, who it now emerges climbed the line several years ago, but failed to report it.)
