The legendary Rhys Parry on the V3 traverse left of Inside Edge(photo: Andy Godber)

If you’ve ever had the pleasure of climbing in Cwm Silyn, you will no doubt have noticed the rather wonderful, potential-blessed boulder that sits below the main crag.

I’m guessing that many folk, myself included, have made a mental note to come back one day and have a proper look at this intriguing block of mountain rock. As with most mental notes, I never did make it back. Nonetheless, I now know a couple of Anglesey lads who did. Andy Godber and the walking legend that is Rhys Parry got stuck in and cleaned up all but one of the superb lines that this boulder has to offer, with a grade range of V0 to V5.

The remaining project is the highball fingery line right of the main arête, Inside Edge, which incidentally is, according to Andy, "one of the best V3s in North Wales!”.
