After many tortuous trips down from his Scottish base, Malcolm Smith has finally succeeded in climbing the Big Link in Parisella's Cave.

Malcom renamed the line Pilgrimage, and suggested that Fr 9a would be a better assessment than V14 for this desperately long stamina link.

Back in the early 90s, Ben Moon famously almost-but-not-quite completed the line, falling off on the finishing moves of Beaver Cleaver.

Pilgrimage is now the hardest problem in North Wales, ahead of Jamie Cassidy's Director's Cut V13 (one repeat from Malcolm) and Malc's Start V13 in the Llanberis Pass (one repeat from Richard Simpson).
