Globe trotting Australian rock star, Chris Webb Parsons paid a visit to the Ogwen Valley at the weekend and came away with the much coveted second ascent of Pete Robins’ uber problem: Isles of Wonder 8B.

Chris showed impressive form and managed to nail the problem in a single session.

Before racing off on a trip to Spain he gave his stamp of approval for this important line:

“What an amazing boulder. One of the best for the grade in the UK.”

Other globe trotting rock stars should note that the sitting start remains as an obvious 8B+/C challenge.
