Mike Hart has climbed a low extended start to Rock Atrocity in Parisella’s Cave. Hatchatrocity 8A starts sitting right at the back wall with hands on an undercut or side pull combination.

It is thought that this was probably climbed before by either Jerry Moffatt back in the late 80s, or more recently by Mark Evans. Either way it seems like a worthwhile extension which deserves to be recorded.

Chris Doyle moved quickly to make a repeat, confirming the grade and praising the quality and logic of the line. He also suggested that it would make a better start for the long links that break out from this area of the cave.
