While unseasonably hot weather settles in across the country an unexpected new problem pops up on the Ormes. Yesterday Chris Doyle took time off from climbing new sport routes to pick off a good problem on a clean little wall on the way down to Pigeon’s Cave.

October Furnace V7/7A+ takes the obvious left hand line from a sitting start and features some delightful flowstone.

There is a thin hard project to the right – although would be suitors will have to wait until the current heat wave passes before attempting this.
