Apologies for the slow reporting of this but the NWB.com editorial team (Ha, ha, I wish – it’s just me! - ed) were otherwise engaged at the time finishing the North Wales Winter Climbing guide.

Anyway, back in November Sam Cattell climbed a hard new line on Cave Wall up on top of Little Orme. Batman V10/7C+ tackles the line immediately right of Caveman.

Sam explains:

“It starts with your left hand on a big undercut and right on a pinch. Make a hard move to a pinch with your right then take the backhand hold on Caveman with your left, then go again and pull through the lip. There are a lot of holds so it might seem a bit confusing initially, but it’s the easiest line of resistance.”
