The Jerry’s Roof block in the Pass remains a focal point for those keen to push their standard on classic test pieces.
Wednesday night saw James McHaffie and Dave Rudkin make repeats of Mr Fantastic V12/8A+. This was the first V12/8A+ for both lads, and moreover with an echo of Liam Desroy’s leap frogging through the grading system a few years back, Dave had never climbed V11/8A before either!
Last month Debbie Corbett made an impressive repeat of Bus Stop V9/7C after only three brief sessions. Leah Crane had already repeated the line back in December 2008. Nick Reyner shot a short film of Debbie working the problem prior to the ascent:
Visiting Aussie climber, Andrea Hah also made a repeat of Jerry’s Roof V9/7C, and over at Parisella’s Cave, Shauna Coxsey made a very quick repeat of Rock Atrocity V9/7C.
