Back in the summer Keith Scarlett climbed a new traverse link line at Pantymwyn. July Rain V6/7/Font 7a/+ is essentially a right-to-left traverse of the Robert Duvall buttress. The description is as follows: stand start at right most point (good hand holds and small edges for feet). Traverse left using hand holds at same level as you started (dropping slightly lower at central section). When the footholds run out make a long reach up to a good edge with your right hand and get feet established at a slightly higher level. A few more moves left via not great holds gain the good finishing hold high and left.

Keith shot a film of his ascent:

A few years back Sam Cattell did climb a low level left-to-right traverse of this buttress, exiting up a V4 line on the right side.
