Ben Farley demonstrating his new problem, Peggy V6/7/7a/+ Photo: Farley collection

Ben Farley has climbed a new line at Angel Bay Peggy V6/7/7a/+ can be found in amongst the chaos of boulders between Limpet and Wet Between the Legs. To reach it walk round to Wet Between the Legs and scramble up a few boulders to the right of this problem. There is a huge, balanced, square-ish boulder above you and you need to clamber up rightwards. The problem is just right of a groove and takes the vague arete from sitting. It's almost clear of the high tide mark and with good clean rock.

"Start low on two side pulls; get your right heel up and move up via another side pull, a lovely little pinch and an slopey edge. Quite a neat little problem and well worth adding to the Bay circuit. There are plenty of other easier problems round the huge boulder but this is the best I'd say.” explained Ben.
