...and udging up through the crux rockover...

Chris Doyle returned to his favourite hang out and climbed the obvious sitting start (i.e. moving up from the pocket start of Les Bos) to his own recently climbed Last Rites. Last Rites sds V9/7c involves three powerful moves into the stand up line, the resultant arm wilt adding much spice to the closing crux moves.

This difficult and relentless problem took a few visits to crack; Chris fell from the very final move a number of times before he grasped the jugs above the lip of the upper bulge. At first Chris felt that the close proximity of the Pill Box was an issue, its looming presence eliciting a less than 100% commitment on the crux, however on the actual day he climbed the line without a spotter.
