Following on from the Llanberis Pass 7 + 8 list, NWB.com (with the help of Ormes main man, Chris Doyle, who compiled the original NWL 7 + 8 list) brings you the same for all the limestone crags in North Wales, including a few in the Clwyd Valley. There has been a consistent and extensive development of the limestone bouldering venues since the 2004 guidebook. This list, which includes all known problems, plus a couple of classic/historical eliminates in the Font 7a – 8b+ range (i.e. V6 – V14), brings it all together. Over 200 problems to go at – plenty to keep even the most ardent limestone lover busy for a year or two.

The list has been compiled in the same order that the problems and crags appear in the guidebook, although Parisella’s Cave and Pill Box Wall, where the highest concentration of difficult problems lie, are listed in order of difficulty.

Feedback on the grades or star ratings is very welcome – please email in your thoughts.
