It’s official! The start of the autumn/winter bouldering season has well and truly arrived, with some fantastic cold conditions (remember what ‘friction’ used to feel like) evident in the last few days. To celebrate the onset of the new season, Mat Perrier and Pete Robins stamped out a couple of powerful little numbers on the Summer Teeth boulder, situated directly below the right hand descent gully on the nose of Dinas Mot in the Pass.

After repeating Si Panton’s superb (their words, not mine) Summer Teeth. Mat bounced and slapped his way up Summer Telse V6. This pulls on with some crimpy holds from a sitting position on the left, slaps rightwards around the lip to a slopey ramp (an awesome move!), before moving up right to the obvious hold in the centre of the upper face, and finishing at the top of the Summer Teeth ramp

Pete then added a direct/leftwards finish: Summit o Nothing a burly V5 that makes powerful pulls straight up, before rocking out left onto the slab.
