David Fidler has spearheaded a surge of development in the Cost of Living area of Gallt yr Ogof, hugely expanding the number of quality problems. Hardest of the bunch is Annuity 7C+, an intense traverse line, and Mr Gwynedd a 7C up line, but there are numerous other sweet looking problems right across the grade spectrum.

David didn’t get all the glory on the grade sevens - Alex Kingston made his mark with The Disorganised Left, a steep 7A/+. There is also a big, hard project line awaiting an ascent.
