Avid followers of NWB, who may have been wondering where all the boulderers in North Wales have been over the past few months, will be reassured to hear that they've been busy as usual discovering a stack of brilliant new problems that have mostly gone unreported.

Why? ...because head NWB honcho, Si Panton, has either been fully engaged writing the new definitive bouldering guide to North Wales or out doing research 'work' for the guide (including climbing plenty of new classic 7s on the way!).

Recent developments include Caff's stunning new highball 8A/+, Devil's Blade in Ogwen, Pete Robins' industrial-scale production of new problems on the North East coast of Anglesey (which now boasts around 135 problems up to 8A including some incredible/terrifying highballs), Martin Crook's (supported by a band of other old skoolers) exploration of the magical oakwoods of Nantmor/Gwynant/Tremadog area, which has revealed some brilliant problems on perfect rock, Tim Peck's awesome 7C+ in the shadow of Wales' premier winter climbing crag, Ysgolion Duon, and Derw Fineron's cool problem discoveries in the Nantmor area.

All will be revealed in the new guide but, for now, check out the videos below for a taste of what's to come!
