Development of the right side of the Tremeirchion crag continues. Firstly Matt Welsh climbed the obvious line of pockets a few metres right of Methanoic Acid with a good mono move from a gaston pocket. Matt finished his problem with a mono stack in a sharp vertical slot pocket. Meatheadmono rates 6B+/6C to this point but a higher, more conventional finish seemed inevitable.

Sure enough the following week Rich Hession stepped in and extended the line up to the obvious hidden ledge (where the plants sprout from). For this higher finish get a thin crimp slot with the right, then take the vertical slot as a left sidepull; build your feet up and lock over to the top and match. Arnold is Numero Uno rates 7A/+.
