Following on from the previous Wavelength report Pete Robins continued to hoover up quality projects, this time on the little visited McAlpine boulder to the right of Craig y Rhaeadr.

Last year Si Panton climbed the obvious cobblestone groove on the left from a sds at 6C/+: The Cobble; Pete climbed the pebbley rib to the right – The Good Life rates 7A and has a tricky start. He then climbed the sds into it from the High Time start – High Time For the Good Life rates 7B.

The obvious link coming across the steepness from 5 Knuckle Shuffle was the next target. Once the sequence was unlocked Pete then spent a number of frustrating attempts slipping off the very end and had to leave it as darkness descended.

The next day he went straight back up and did the deed and Time Off For a Good Life 7C was born.
