Dave Noden has struck again, this time with a steep and crimpy line on a little known block in Rhiwlas.

Junkyards of My Life V9/7Cish can be found on a small boulder in the wood beneath Jamie King’s slab problem Violent Snatch.

“Sit start on two small holds. Snag a bigger crimp with your right and lock or jump into another crimp then jug. It avoids the right arete of the boulder, making it a natural eliminate/line. A bit sharp but very good.” Explained Dave.

The left arête climbed on the same day by Chris Davies, is Eat my Detritus V2/5+.

Approach by going down the left hand side of the bluff Violent Snatch is on, down to the bottom, turn right by a caravan and follow the path for 20-30m. The block is on the right.
