Adam Hocking and Pete Robins have developed a superb half dozen new problems on the hillside above the lay-by at the Nant Peris end of Llyn Peris. From the lay-by, head straight up the hillside into the vague gully for about 100m. The wall, which has a slightly boggy landing, faces down to the road and the boulder is about 30m up and left, facing Llanberis.

The descriptions are as follows:

Boulder:

The Penultimate Truth V4/6b Straight up from standing, rock out left. (FA: Hock)

The Penultimate Truth direct V6/7a Straight up all the way. A bold and worrying highball finish leading to better holds! (FA: Hock)

Problem 3 V4/6b Straight up to lip then right and up arete. Bad landing and eliminate finish. (FA: Hock)

Problem 4 V5/6c Left arete start into The Penultimate Truth. (FA: Hock)

Wall:

Mankini V5/6c Left line to crimps in break. (FA: Pete)

Bikini V7/7a+ Central line via lay-away seam. (FA: Hock)

These problems are ace, well worth an evening visit.” Commented Pete.
