On Sunday afternoon Neil Dyer flashed the obvious Empire of Dirt – Burning Sphincter link up at the Breck Road area. After climbing Empire of Dirt to the jugs, a call from the ground suggesting that he continue leftwards instead of jumping off, prompted him to drop back in and keep the throttle on, all the way to the top of Burning Sphincter. As for the grade – expect something in the V8/+/7b/+ area.

This latest link opens up the possibility for a ‘mega’ lip traverse all the way across the sector.
