Jamie King has climbed a sweet looking slopey traverse in the Ogwen Valley.

To find Lip Service V5/6c, hop over the wall directly opposite the walled car park (just along from the Milestone buttress Boulders and on the lake side of the road) and the problem can easily be spotted on the block in front of you.

The traverse follows the lip from right to left to right with a couple of hard moves to gain the jug and a tricky exit up the shallow arete. All on gorgeous rough dolerite!

There are a few other interesting problems in this area; a high prow close to the lakeside is worth a look – shame about the sloping landing though.
