Si Panton added an intense (and admittedly semi-eliminate problem, in that it is a low level traverse) to this seemingly worked out (?) boulder. Starting from the sit down start to Utopia Groove, swerve left beneath the juggy ledges and crimpy break on the normal traverse to gain the sitting start to Utopia Lefthand. From here, shuffle your hands into the best position, and make a hard crossover move to the rounded ledge out left and exit up the left arête.

(NB. the layback sitting start to Utopia Lefthand is superb, adding a grade to the original. It also provides the best start to the reverse of the main traverse, or failing that, a neat connection into Utopia Groove.)
